Preferred Customer Plan
Unlike a conventional “service contract,” CNE offers a Preferred Customer Plan. This is a pre-paid block purchase of hours that works like a debit account. The block purchase ensures that you pay only for the time actually required for each service and has no expiration date. After each service call, you will be mailed a statement with the details of the work completed and your account balance. Parts are invoiced separately. This pre-paid block purchase establishes your organization as a CNE Preferred Customer. Block purchases can be made in increments of 10 or 20 hours.
Cost
Our normal professional fee is $100 an hour for network engineer. If you purchase a block of 10 hours the discounted fee is $85 per hour, for a total of $850. If you purchase a block of 20 hours the discounted fee is $80 an hour, for a total of $1600. This rate applies to normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. A rate of time and a half applies to after hour service calls.
Time Charge Policy
Telephone support is measured in increments of ¼ hour, although simple questions are generally not charged. On-site and in-shop service times are measured in ½ hour increments with a one hour minimum for each. Travel time is charged for on-site service outside our normal response area. The charge is half the labor rate, or $40 per hour. Our normal response area is defined as anywhere in Alachua County and the city of Ocala.
Response
We are on call for active accounts during normal business hours which are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Our phones are answered during this time and service calls are dispatched to the appropriate engineer. Service calls are returned within 2-4 hours. A call for an entire business being “down” takes precedence over all pending service requests and will be returned ASAP.
